30 Jun Corvina REX launched new image in Bálamo, the largest sea port in Madrid
Few days ago, at Corvina REX we launched a corporate project and a new brand image.
Taking advantage of the returning to normality, we met our friends and collaborators to celebrate it.
Thus, on June 9, we had the opportunity to organize a showcooking with our partner Live Fish at the Bálamo restaurant. A gastronomic space defined as “the largest sea port in Madrid” and where Avramar´s and Corvina REX´s team found themselves in their element, like fish in the water.
Three chefs were in charge of bringing the best of sea to the table and showed the versatility of Corvina REX with three very different recipes, with which the guests enjoyed of three different perspectives.
Chef Iñigo Urrechu, executive chef of Urrechu, chose to cook our Corvina REX as a different propose of ceviche with red shrimp and passion fruit. For his part, Borja Letamendía, executive chef of the Bálamo restaurant, prepared it in a fine papillote with seasonal vegetables, combining the flavors of the sea and the garden.
The last dish of the tasting was cooked by Alfonso Escolar, executive chef of Autocines España, and surprised guests with different textures. In this recipe, Corvina REX was accompanied by a ground of hazelnuts and an infused sour cream and it was a sensory experience that surprise all by its flavor.
The day ended with a few words from the hosts. Our commercial director, Tahiche Lacomba, introduced the Avramar Group’s European project and its new capacity as a leading fish producer in the Mediterranean. For its part, our collaborator Live Fish confirmed to the attendees his commitment to the quality of the genre and customer service. Some fundamental values that define both companies and that connect us to achieve success in all future projects.
