Corvina REX wanted to show its support for fishmongers after the situation derived from Covid-19 and it did so, firstly, by visiting the stalls dedicated to selling fish located in the main local markets of the cities of Valencia, Madrid and Barcelona.
With these visits, carried out by the company’s commercial team, the aim is to get to know the needs of each of these businesses closely, in order to offer them tailor-made promotions with which to help boost their sales.
This work brings the Corvina REX universe closer to those professionals who were not linked to the brand and establishes the germ of a future relationship as solid as it is fruitful.
After the first contacts, fifty hundred Valencia fishmongers have started enjoying a box of Corvina REX provided by their trusted wholesaler from Mercavalencia.
The initiative is having an excellent reception both by the fishmongers themselves – direct beneficiaries of the promotion – and by the wholesalers.
These represent an essential link in this process, as distributors and, in addition, the action facilitates product rotation while helping them to strengthen ties with their customers.
The promotional campaign has been articulated through coupons, equivalent to a totally free Corvina REX box, which have been sent both by email and by mobile messaging.
Likewise, it is aligned with the two prevailing trends related to proximity: on the one hand, the purchase of local products (fish from our coasts worn by the label “Crianza de Nuestros Mares”) and, on the other, the purchase in shops of proximity (local market stalls).
